Listing hijacking
A hijacker sells on your ASIN, changes the content or undercuts the price. Protect the brand, document the offer and act fast.

When another seller takes your page
A hijacker can win the buy box, change the images or title, or sell a different product under your ASIN. The damage is not only the lost sale: reviews and returns attach to the ASIN, so a bad unit sold by someone else becomes your rating problem.
The first response is documentation, not a price war. Capture the offer, the seller name, the condition and the content change with timestamps. A test buy gives you the physical evidence that the unit is not yours.
Protection before the incident
Brand registry and transparency programmes are preventive. A registered trademark is usually required, and the enrolled brand gets content and report tools. The programme does not make hijacking impossible, but it shortens the response path.
Monitor the ASIN weekly. A price or content change is easier to reverse in the first day. Keep a record of authorised sellers and distributors so a new offer is immediately visible as unexpected.
Frequently asked questions
Can I remove another seller from my ASIN?
You can report a policy violation or a counterfeit offer with evidence. The marketplace decides. Brand registry tools can help, but they do not give unilateral removal.
What evidence should I collect?
Screenshots with timestamps, the offer details, the seller name, a test-buy order and photos of the received unit. Keep the chain of evidence intact.
Does brand registry require a trademark?
Enrolment generally requires a registered trademark in the relevant jurisdiction. Check the current requirements for the marketplace.
Will lowering my price stop a hijacker?
It may win the buy box temporarily, but it does not remove the other offer and it can start a price war that damages both sellers.
