Retail markets

Cross-border retail is decided at the border as much as in the storefront. Import VAT or GST applies on arrival, customs duty depends on the tariff code, and the de minimis threshold decides whether a small parcel is worth shipping at all. Those three numbers differ in every market, and several of them changed in 2026.

Each entry states the current tax rate, the low-value threshold and the duty basis for one destination, with the authority and the date it was checked. Rules move: the United States suspended its $800 de minimis, the EU replaced the €150 duty exemption with a temporary flat €3 duty, and the UK has announced a consultation on removing its £135 duty relief. Verify before you price a corridor.
